It's time for a tuneup .Your timing is out ,your sparkplugs are dirty and while you are in tuneup mode check your leads, fuel and air filter, dizzie etc.Kevman.

Kevman - EFs dont have a dizzy, timing is ECU controlled. Dirty filters or stuffed leads wont cause it either. Plugs or combustion chambers that are carboned up a stupid amount will cause it, or a faulty ignition switch.
Its called run-on. 'Delied' is spelt delayed too btw.

Anyway does the car actually run fine? No misses or down on power? I'd honestly suggest taking the car for an absolute belting as well as new plugs and decent fuel + resetting the ecu by taking disconnecting the battery for half an hour.
