depends highly on "ones" mood i guess.. but yes, some times the search button comes up with some very vague stuff and other times can be quite helpfull... jim mock forums shouldnt be too hard to find using the search button as there sure has been plenty of thread about the gear..

Dont mean to hi-jack this thread, but is it worth payin an extra 2grand to get the full dev5-ss setup? is his computer really making THAT much of a difference.

Or if I was to buy a full setup just the dev5 is good with a diff comp of my own?

I hear along the rumour mill that JMM have been working with the CAPA Eliminator switch, aka 'E-Series edit'.
That'd be the best option, speak to Brendan maybe and see what they can do for you.

Dev cams idle good.It depends on who installs them and how the ecu behaves to them.If you go the dev cams they really need a good tuner to tune it and get it going well. If you have a distributor and can advance it up then you are laughing. The AU six has the coilpacks which are a pain.

I have run the dev3HL and the dev5 in my AU both very streetable with an auto and the idle was fine with the dev3hl with stock ceu. I only ran the dev5 with a unichip but its idle isnt radical. power is good. At least you can be pretty sure you get what you pay for and they aren't cheap so it's good to know they really do work well.

I'd highly recommend them.

I have a DEV3HL and along with a few other mods, my car is pumping out 149.2rwkw (with a re-run to come soon which I'm positive will spit out a higher figure). Check out my gallery for they dyno sheet.

I've found that Brendan is extreemly helpful and knows his stuff. Just e-mail him if you have any questions.

If you are just starting out, their prices aren't too bad, especially if you opt for a package.
