How do I disconnect the cruise control cable at the intake manifold?

if you follow the cable, it joins on the edge of the throttle body. there will be 2 cables. accelerator and cruise.

the accelerator is wrapped around the mechanism, just push the lever so the throttle opens and the accelerator cable goes limp then unthread it.

the cruise cable joins on the same linkage, about 2cm away, it is just a plastic clip on the end of the cable and it pushes onto a little metal tab, just put hand on it at the very end (plastic clip) and just give it a gentle sharp tug upwards, it wilol just unclip
