Can any one tell me where you get the reinforcement kit to fix this problem and how much was paid to resolve the issue.

we weld and brace them.
didn't know there was a kit avalible ??
if there is a kit ,someone. where from!!!!

just make up two plates and weld them on each side for beter strenght

are you talking about the actual firewall being cracked where the clutch cable hole is located or the pedal box is cracked

Strengthen the best you can. I'd try to weld a sanwich plate to booster braket to prevent any deffetion...
Then make a bracket like this one that runs from firewall to supension bolt on inner guard ...

Dropped off at the panel beaters today. Quoted $350. thought that reasonable given the pain in the ar*e job.
