then i must've f**k up cos my engine sits as far back as possible that i have 1/4inch clearance from heater pipe to the firewall and the serp belt harmonic balancer has only approx 1/2 inch clearance to the radiator support whereas a 250 has about 50mm

having looked at both, is it possible that the 4.0 head is much taller than the 4.1's. which brings on the clearance dramas. i suppose the ohc gear on the front has to add some length too.

i think that the blocks on the 4.1 motor might be taller?, but hight wise the ea motor fits piss easy in the rolla, goin to start to put the ea motor in a dummy rolla, today :D

ok well pulled out one of the ea motor today and started to mesure up stuff and workin out what needs to be cut, looks like the motor will fit in ok, with cutting out a mass hole in the fall to get the bak of the motr in it, then cut up and remake the sump, and remake the exhaust manifold

then just the usally stuff that you do in a covestion, so it is a 100% go for puttin the motor in, goin to sit it bak a lil more maybe so i can get a cooler in the front :P

im so pumped with makin dis thing

Haha man, should have posted this on rollaclub ;)

Go for it, post heaps of pic's too! Geoff on rollaclub has stuck a 202 into a rolla before, have a chat to him. And 'PMP-020' has got both a 250x-flow KE20 and a RB30ET KE20.

Geoffs rolla had inch plate on the left side of the block in an effort to block heat and side mounted the radiator..... different but it worked. Wouldn't work in a 4.0L though I don't think.... say goodbye to your firewall :D

Good luck

well the windsor should be interesting.
did you get any pics of the ea donk in there?
i reckon the ea donk coulda been made to go better than the windsor ( well for weight if you want to argue that way)
except if you are going all out on the windsor either way its going to be interesting, but damn those windsors are heavy fuxors
