my daughter turned of her car and it wont start turns over has spark and fuel but wont go its an early 3.9 with throttle body injection ant ideas ppl
i pulled fuel line of pressure seems fine pulled a plug it sparks alittle blacker than id like but still sparks any ideas ppl would be great |

Check the coil for cracks, check the intake manifold bolts for tightness, and check that the injectors are pulsing, check MAP sensor hose for splits.

had the same trouble, turns out it was the coil, it would work just enough to spark the plugs when you pulled them out for inspection/testing but not enough to ignite anything, i changed the coil & it started on the first crank. (about $30-$40 new & $10 2nd hand from the wreckers)

its still dead replaced coil weith new 1 no change replaced dissy module with new 1 still dead running out of ideas any other ideas plz ppl

turned out that her bf put new plug leads on it in right firing order but put lead 1 on terminal 5 so it was never going to go lol at least its had a good service plugs leads cap coil dissy module all it needs is an oil change ands its brand new her bf has agreed to stick to painting lol |
