whenever i use economy my car runs like sht, when idleing it feels like it skips and almost stalls and when driving if given full noise just splatters everywhere. i orginally thought i needed new plugs, i cleaned the throttle body and made no difference. but when i put it in power after about 20 minutes the car changed completly, nothing was wrong with it.

ive heard a few people say economy is bad as it dumps to much oil on the auto? is this true?


so just wondering if anyone else expericences problems when using economy?

only thing that switch should do is change the gear change map and increase the shift point at the end of each gear about 500 revs.

maybe check there are no other wires coming off it, past owner might have wired up some crazy thing to it
