I am soon going to change my oil, using oil flush and long term treatment products.

On my oil cap it says use only 30 or 40 multigrade oil.
Does this mean it cannot be fully synthetic?

Meaning I cannot use 0 or 5W - 30 or 40

What do you use in your EA EB ED?

You have to use the correct oil for the tolerances in the motor against wear and tear. Either 15w/40 or 20w/50 is what i use in my EA, ED and EL. As do the rest of the cars in my sig.

Thanks for the replies, I see that its a mineral based oil that I'll be using.

Yes I'm planning on changing the air, fuel and oil filters after I do the change, with Ryco products.

A thumbs up for the Penrite 30.
My ED 6 runs much smoother and quieter now.
Was using Shell Helix?
