i have a eb with a standard 4.0l in it the motor is good besides coolant running down the side of the block (blown head gasket) and i have a ed xr6 motor thats smokey the rings are shot, anyways i am tring to decide wether to do the rings and bearings in the smokey xr motor and drop that in or just put the xr head on my eb bottom end, the bottom ends are the same anrnt thay ??.

oh and can anyone tell me what kw diffrence the head will make.

id just put the xr head on the stock motor. they are the same bottm ends anyways..
