In the morning before work after sitting all night, it takes about 10sec of cranking bvefore it starts. During the day it starts straight away. Its not a serious problem, but just curious what you guys think? Is something on the way out? Thankyou

Weathers getting colder.
1) Lazy Starter Motor
2) Battery getting old.
3) Fuel Pump.

Are there any other symptoms?

Fuel pump is quite a noisy thing! Perhaps its on the way out or do they just die? It's only when the car is cold in the morning, otherwise it starts quick when warm.
Not gasket, battery seems to crank pretty well.

Thanks for your ideas

This will diagnose if its the fuel pump or not...

In the morning after it's been sitting. Prime the fuel pump a few times. Ignition on/off/on/off maybe 4 or 5 times if its starts quickly it will be fuel pump/fuel reg
