What is the difference (besides the obvious "they look different") between the air intake piping on an EF compared to an EL?
My EF has this type:  All the EL ones I have seen look like this:  Is one actually any better than the other? |

EL is cheaper to manufacture.
Tests proved that the EF BBQ Plate actually flowed better. |

Ah, I see - thanks for that. So I should stick with the factory one and leave the EL setup in the shed for a future project then.
