hi peoples i am having trouble finding performance belts and hoses
are either au parts interchangable with my ef engine?, supercheap has gates blue belts for au under $30 and only have ef/el silicone top radiator hose which they want 45 buck for rip off considering the quality(grommit brand) ebay has gates blue top and bottom for el/ef under 90 bucks delivered. any help or links aprreciated cheers |

i am thinking the serp belt is the same as au, and also thinking most other parts (cosmetic) are interchangeable is hoses and other misc s**t..

thats what i thought , i just found product numbers on pics were same just wanted to confirm gotta be careful with plug leads ef and el are different lengths blue gates serp belt tomorrow yaaaaaaaaay stoopid cheap finally has somthing i want that will actually fit |

you can go to a manufacturers website and generally they have online catelogues. just look up the 2 models and see if they have the same part number. for something like belts, try Gates, Bosch and/or Dayco.

most of the acessories are the same from ef to au but the belts are different in length.(i think its because of the alternator mounting difference)???
on the gates belt listing the ef belt is 6pk2375 the au belt is 6PK2415R(it doesnt say if std and vct are the same or not?) |

try repco for the blu gates hoses,.they were cheapest here .$80 i think.
repco also sells the gates ? clamps .there wider .. 
get the right belt,my 1 came off,found out it was au ,not ef .

thanx guys ive been searching thats why i asked here some brand belts are the same numbers others differnt
big difference between $26.99 and $80 catalouges are heaps online, stockists that have el ones at a fair price or have them at all not many. i want a yuppie blue serp belt |
