Would the EF style intake be a better flowing setup than the EL style intake? The EF pipes run longer and look similar to the mandrel bent system?

both ef and el are rated by ford at 157kw so if there was any difference ford never saw enough to increase any power figures and motor companies don't go changing things without an amount of research and development. i'd say spend the money elsewhere. if you do want to change it it is safe to say though that you probably won't lose power and you may think it looks better. i had an ef xr6. apart from snorkel the intake stayed stock and apart from exhaust the car was pretty stock and i still managed a healthy 130rwkw.
