Hey all,

I have a few questions.

1 How much would i be looking at for a rebuild on an EF engine (possible cam and valve springs upgraded).

2 Does anyone know of good places to get this done around the Sunshine Coast region???

Muchly appreciated

depends on if you want a re-ring, or a full on rebuild or an all out performance engine.

so anything from $2000 to $20 000

I didn't do a full rebuild on my motor, just the top half and gaskets.

Prices for parts were below $1000. That includes getting head checked and straightened, mild cam, 3" stainless steel intake, vernier gear, all gaskets, new water pump with steel pulley, head bolts and what not. I did my own labour and the cost didn't include the different tools I had to get to get the job done.

phong =P~
