Guys.

I have an EF Ghia, and an AU Engine in the wings ready to go in.

I suspect I need new engine mounts. OPtions are :

1. New EF Mounts from Ford ($350 - Whaaat!)
2. Use AU Mounts from Ford ($250 and $350 - Ouch!)
3. Use the EL Mounts (way cheaper).

Whats the best cost effective answer here. If I go with 3, what do I need to change? (Engine mount bracket on Engine is a given, but do I also need the Engine Mount Brackets on K-Frame???)

Thanks

Nigel

Hmmm. Are EL Mounts the same as EA/B mounts?

They arent expensive...

If your mounts are shot and the AU does not come with them then EL are the go. If the AU motor does come with them you will need a slimmer nut as it will foul the K frame.
