Hello every one new to ford mods just got a question about my ef I have put another engine in the series 2 ghia motor that I bought off a mate that he ripped out of the car but my concern is the new engine thinking it's the hybrid xr6 or not at all and would it be worth it putting a complete Tickford head on I got given the compliance plates with it the compliances plate says x engine as every one knows means xr the number on the compliance plate machetes the engine number I was really happy when I got it done and finished until I read from you guys about the number on the front and mine doesn't Match any of them it's 94da can any one help me work this out it's doing my head in lol

I pulled this from another thread, I googled fordmods 94da

94DA head is very late ED/EF.

Ok so I take it its basically au head ? Or it is it's just got a mild xr6 grind and I know all About the tickford head would it be worth putting a tickford head on

Don't take this the wrong (any way you like) but punctuation of your sentences would help greatly in trying to understand what you are saying.

1) What EF do you have? Ghia series II?

2) What car did the motor come out of?

3) What number if any is cast on the front of the head?
