hey guys I have a ef wagon that I am doing a xr6 conversion on.

I want to keep it na but get a little more power out of the car and want to upgrade the fuel system.

so my questions are......
1) what components to replace ie pump filter regulator injectors rail

2) can I run any ba xr6 turbo gear

3) what would be the best brands to use ie walbro bosch ect

4) bosch injectors 24lbs;255cc/min @ 43.5 psi 14ohms. worth it or not

5) what would be the best fuel pump and regulator

this car will be my daily so I don't want it to guzzle fuel but a bit more flow for more power will be great.

so my questions are......
1) what components to replace ie pump filter regulator injectors rail

A) Use a 300kpa reg if you want, you can use the AU or BA fuel rail, no big difference, no gain. Injectors, use the AU 20lb, Pump, use a Walbro or Nippon Denso High flow.

2) can I run any ba xr6 turbo gear
A) No.

3) what would be the best brands to use ie walbro bosch ect
A) Nippon Denso, Walbro 255L.

4) bosch injectors 24lbs;255cc/min @ 43.5 psi 14ohms. worth it or not
A) Will flood the engine.

5) what would be the best fuel pump and regulator
A) Fuel pump, see 3. Reg, factory.

this car will be my daily so I don't want it to guzzle fuel but a bit more flow for more power will be great.

Unless you are doing head work, cam etc, you will gain no power, little better throttle response maybe, nothing much else.

Upgrading the fuel system on a stock motor other than using AU injectors is a waste of time and money.

ok cheers for that swc

eventually I will be doing engine work im just at a cross road trying to decide to keep the engine na or turb it or supercharge it. I wanna give it a turb but know it will limit resale of the car were as if I keep it na anyone could buy it when I resell. also am unsure on what would be the better way to go turb or charger if anyone can shed some light on it that would be much appreciated.

wanna give the old girl some more power but don't wanna sacrifice fuel efficiency, ect max il be chasing is 300kw. stock is just to sluggish for me.

another thing is how would I go about a sports auto trans/trimatic??? at first I did want to use a ba xr6 sports auto but was advised there would be no point. I like my autos but wanna be able to flick it over and slam through the gears and give it some go every now and again. what would be the best way to go about this and has anyone done it or is anyone running a sports auto in the ef el???

so ive got 99.99999991% of the parts needed for the xr conversion but with work being so busy atm don't have the time to start the conversion so il keep everyone updated but hopefully work will die down soon and il have access to or hoists ect.

one more thing, being a wagon its real boat like in the rear end and I wanna stiffen it up abit so it handles better would whiteline hd swaybars do the trick?? what else can I do to improve handling I want this thing hlding the road like its irs and cambered to the max which reminds me also how do I go about cambering the front end???
