Finished the upgrade yesterday . I can feel a noticeable difference on the pedal . Very happy with it .

No , I used a standard one . Will swap diffs this weekend. Will the Fairmont ECU or and XR6 one have any added effect ?

If you are running the Tickford engine and 300kpa reg, and the standard/GLI ECU...

you will see gains from the Tickford ECU

Yeah mate , All standard except for the Tickford head . Now here's the thing . I didn't know exactly what the 2mm exhaust valve difference would be. Been told that's the only difference but not sure . Anyway ,

Before - floor it on the green light = Labouring slow take off all the way to gear change (auto) and on

Now - floor it on the green light = tyre smoke in 1 second . Seriously ! One would think ivé just put a V8 in the old girl. Man I love this forum . It's all you guys fault you know. Thanks heaps !!!

Did you run the thinner au gasket? Couldve also got a gain from the higher compression aswell.

They very well couldve given you an au style gasket
They last alot longer and give a littlr more comoression being thinner.
