Funny thing is... If you have fuel and spark then nothing else will stop the engine from running... Unless the motor has no compression at all?

If you have fuel and the cylinder compresses it and you have spark then there should be a detonation...

IIRC timing cannot be adjusted on EF because the synchroniser can't be out or adjusted? Somebody feel free to correct me if I'm wrong?

You sure your coil pack can deliver spark under compression? Even a half stuffed coil will spark under atmosphere pressure, but may not spark under compression... A high energy test plug proves this at std atmosphere pressure...

Checked spark on all 6 cylinders? You have a coil pack, not a coil... So there is 3 coils in two halfs and each cylinder needs to be checked...

Also, checked your interior light fuse? This disables smartlock when blown...

Cheers,
Tim

dont think it will be the crt lp fuse it controls the smart lock other things as well there wouldnt be fuel or spark
