how are you going to repair the head gasket?

do you mean the head, cracked corroded etc, then take it to a head shop to be done.

They crack tested the head, machined it and replaced the valve stem seals.....

$110 ALL UP.

They also replaced something else (can't remember though!).

DANDENONG REBORES - on cheltenham Rd.

I then assisted my mechanic putting it all back together! Not recommended if your not use to muckin' with engines!!!

I started doing mine on sunday. I'm down to the point where im cracking the head bolts and its been fairly easy thus far, and before that i hadn't done anymore than replace a p/s pump.
