put 100w or higher globes in your high beams 1st, then see what you reckon ... trouble with spotties etc is that of course you can't use them all the time and you'll need a mounting bar to stick them on

invest in +50 globes for your main beams, i dunno about fitting 100w in there, it is illegal .. at the same time put the 100w globes in your high beams, then see what you reckon about spotlights

There are a few things you can do with the dull EF lights. But you have to understand every ef/el car (without preventative action) will go through this same failure.

Firstly is if they are really yellow you can go through the sanding back process and clear them up. It is the cheapest option for you.

Secondly is you could replace the lights with some that are not as yellow or new ones - this isn't a very cheap option. I have some old lights for sale if you are interested which aren't yellow.

Thirdly is you could do an xr conversion and you will get glass lights which will obviously never go yellow. But this is quite expensive.

And forth you could adjust the lights to make sure they haven't dropped down and are pointing at the ground.

Upgrading the wattage of the globes might help - don't go over 100w for your headlights as they will get too hot and makes things much worse!

If ya really keen on vision at night all i can say is go HID mate, there only 35W too, so they dont heat up ya lenz or anything as much and last heaps longer that a halogen bulb. I do about 15000k's every 3 months and alot of that is at night, so I wanted the best coz i live in the hills most of the time.
