Does anyone know if there is any benefit from following recomended replacement intervals and putting in a new O2 sensor at the 100,000 KM mark. Will there be any improvement in performance or idle quality?

If your old ones is still working fine,, then no there won't be any difference. But considering the location of them, theyy have a tough life, and would be a good idea to replace when necessary - as they do effect the ECU's accuracy...
