My EF is running really wierd underload, not like its missing, sort of like its starving for fuel. it idel's fine and revs not under load fine. Its like its skipping but constant. Could it be the fuel pump? the sound of it priming when you turn the key on hasn't changed and sounds strong or could it be the filter, i assume theres one under there somewhere?

Definetly sounds like blocked fuel filter. The fuel filter of EF falcons is found under the car on the passengers side. About where the LH rear passenger puts their feet.

The Ryco part number is Z373

You will need a 14 mm pipe spanner/ or somethimes called a flare nut spanner.

Also a 19mm open ender spanner.

Release fuel pressure at the fuel cap. Undo both pipe fittings and change the filter. Easy. Go from there.
