I thought EF are about $220 new from ford, and a davies craig therno switch is around $50.

have a quick search - a lot of the perth boys have chucked volvo thermo fans in theirs (for $50) - ask specifically fastfutura as i know for a fact he has done that, with a davies craig thermo switch as well - he'll be able to tell you all you need...

if you specifically want ford thermos, talk to discofrank, as he has some AU thermos up for sale, which have better flow than the EF/EL ones

AU do fit, but have more clearence issues, you have to mount them upside for a start, so stick with ef/el thermos at least.

A single EF fan motor was quoted to me as either $350.00 or $450.00 at Ford, and $50.00 for the blades. Got one from XR8 Dismantler (Darren at Ferntree Gully Auto Salvage) for $50.00 and $20.00 registered postage to my door in Tassie from Melbourne.

$330 with a switch would not be genuine ones the ef ones with the 2 speed motor is about $500 from ford. the EL ones are a heap cheaper and
fit exactly the same. the AU ones arnt as good as the EF-EL ones.
In summary I would recommend the EL ones you can pick them up new for under $300 from ford or we can supply secondhand for $175 plus postage. and a switch should cost about $40-50 from a radiator shop or Autobarn ect.

I just checked the link and they were $200, wich is still a good price. But is it worth it to buy Genuine ones?
