would have been good of you to tell us in the opening of the thread EVERYTHING you have already done trying to chase the problem, as it seems that everything suggested has already been tried. I'd start looking at ECU..

Does it have an aftermarket cam? might not be dialled in correctly
Has it done it only since the exhaust was replaced, or are you still running your stock cat?? cat could be collapsed.

Dunno mate you tell us what you have tried already, and not let us ask about something if its already been done without knowing.

There is only so much we can do with the info you have given us.

Maybe the IAT then, or get ur mechanic to check the fuel pressure, the pump might be on its way out. No diagnostic check yet? the air filter wouldnt be it, take it out and run it, if the cat was blocked ud have the problem up top not down low. otherwise borrow a computer from ur wreckers and check that way.

good on ya champ.. good luck chasing this issue, look at the fuel side of things, Injectors.. I've seen new cats collapse before. has it still got the heat sheild on it? or has your exhaust shop cut that off to fit it up? but since you know best bust can't sort it out, I'll leave you to battle it out.

PM me if you desire further corrospondance on this from me, otherwise, stuff your head back in the sand. Arrogant.

my isc solenoid had a gasket with smaller holes in it than the original gasket, chucked the original one back on and it drives alot smoother now. But like Timmeh said in the 2nd post with 229000 on the clock it probably needs new rings as it could be losing compression. i was going to pull the motor out at the end of the year to replace the sump gasket so will probably get the bottem end rebuilt then and it has a new head on it already so dont have to worry bout that.
