Hi all,

Car is playing up a bit, just thought id ask here before I pay to take it to a mechanic.

Basicall the car idles fine but when im either braking or steering whilst idling ie. Coasting into a roundabout the revs drop down below 500rpm and in some cases stalls. The car also is lacking power and wont rev over 3000rpm, anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this? I was thinking maybe a damaged sensor? ?

Can I do that with the cat on the car or do I have to remove? The exhaust is on the way out the rear resonator snapped off the other week

Possibly collapsed exhaust.

Too much back pressure will stop the engine breathing.
