Hey guys

I just wanted to know if an EL auto tranny would be able to work properly if i cut pins 38 and 57 on my ECU. pin 38 is the A/T Solenoid 5, and pin 57 is connected to a lot of other things.

Reason i ask, is i think i may have bought an on/off switch instead of an on/on switch for my shift kit. i've wired it up but cant for the life of me notice any changes (and right now the roads are wet) when the tranny shifts gears

The car revs as it normally would, right through to 5,000+ rpm and each gear operates as it usually does.
