You wont need bigger injectors, just get AU injectors with the fuel rail and XR6 fuel pressure regulator, and an XR6 spec. Fuel Pump.

The std injectors are 18#, and the V8 ones are 24#.
It will chew fuel like it's going out of fashion.
AU injectors are 4 hole type, EL and earlier are Pintel type.

No difference in the injectors, just the ECU, fuel pump, fuel pressure reg. the head, valve springs and the cam......engine wise.

Don't think the fuel pump is different just the fuel reg. XR unit is 300kpa and standard 270kpa.

Also keep in mind if you are putting your ef motor in an el it is not a straight bolt in. You must change the ef motor (coil pack set up) to a dizzy set up to suit your el. Not too hard, plenty of threads on here that can help with that.

And yeah I wouldn't bother with those injectors, just use your el ones until you can get a hold of some au ones :)

if they are 39lb injectors they are useless, they are way to big to run on factory ecu... you will be lucky if it will even start..

if your not 100% sure what injectors you have post a pic or part number of them and we can tell you what they are..
