How much would a standard 1997 EL Fairmont Ghia be worth these days? I know all cars arent in the same condition, km's etc but whats a rough price range?
Thanks

well I looking at buying one in about 5-6 months and I am putting around 15k aside because I dont want just any normal ghia. I am going to keep looking until I find one with sunroof, leather, 4.0L and LPG. I will probably just find one without gas then convert it which is why im setting aside 15k.

Well Mooseman, when you look for one, send me a PM and i can send you come photos of the old man's. It has leather, factory sunroof, premo sound, of course the Tickford motor, and is stock, untouched and definately not thrashed. Only got 125,000kms on her now.
Also comes with EL XR 16's, or stock Fairmont Ghia rims, if wanted instead.

Sounds like an awesome car!

Don't know about the "definantely not thrashed" bit though :) Surely she's been squirted every now and then?

Why else would you option up the Tickford motor?

Well my old man bought it off another older guy 50+. My old man is 59, and he just drives it to QLD for holidays and 30 to and from work at the airport. Also an hour there and back to watch basketball matches on the weekend.

He absolutely s**t himself when i took him for a spin in my car, bad.
He's about the only guy i know who averages under 11l/100km no matter if he's driving around town or not.
I was under the impression that all the EL Fairmont Ghia's got the Tickford motor.
