A Question for the experts, what specs do you go by when overhauling a Hybrid from an EL?.
It is not covered in the Ford EF-EL Shop manual.
I am just about to start an overhaul and need to know.
Thanks in Advance.

Torque specs are all the same, bolt release and fasten order si the same, timing will also be the same,

Just rebuild it to EL spec torques. main noticable difference you will pick if you have screwed around with the ford I6 before is head difference. otherwise its all the same as el. (for the most part, subtle differences here and there) delete distrib. and add coil pack for full AU, as this is hybrid, it has distributor anyways.

Does that help?

Dave
