would this pipe hook directly up to my EF box and etc? Just judging this against the EF setup, the EL is 100% better for airflow

No it won't the EF airbox lid has a different diameter hole. Don't be so sure the flow of EL is better, some tests prove the EF flows better. Also your EF bbm will be missing the mounting posts for the EL intake.

Dont touch the EL intake pipe, as said EF flows better, remove the bellmouth from the airbox and run an EL flex pipe as pictured into the airbox.

Sallon cars run a nice and shiney 3 ince steel pipe from the air box to the throttle body.

Now while that might give you a few extra HP up top, and I mean like 3 hp, you will loose some throttle responce down low.

Dont waste your time.

So, if i was to get a 3" S/S intake pipe from the air box to the throttle body, i'd lose the throttle response i have now?
:( That would be awful!

EDIT: Would this mod have any advantages over the stock EF pipe?
