I just bought a K&N panel filter today and i want to change the stock instake snorkle, i'v heard the EL GT snorkle is the go and the AU2 or 3 XR8 snorkle is aswell. Do these just fit straight on?, or do you have to modify them?

el gt will fit straight in, but the au u will need 2 drill 2 new holls, but is fairly is 2 do.

FTGAS have the GT snorkles cheap and with post too. PM darren for one.

Same size as the AU XR8 and TS/TE. I think the AU XR6 got standard one. |

If the BA XR6 turbo one fits il get one of those becuase i can get those for $37

since we are talking about el gt, you cant say ef xr's, only el... i have an el xr6 and the standard snorkel is the same as the GT snorkel, believe me i put one right next to it! so i assumed that all el xr's came with it. if you like check out the shot of my eninge bay in my gallery. had the car since factory! can anyone out there with an el xr6/8 back this up? maybe i just got lucky! cheers

I just bought a BA snorkle, its the exact same as wats on my dads XR6 turbo, so im happy. I really didn't think it would make much of a difference but it made a massive difference good buy for $33

Yeah i no it sounds like im talking sh!t, but it makes it pull alot harder after 60kph, and its alot more repsonsive.

I didnt realise these ones fitted. Got a shot or link of what the part looks like? Does it work better than the AUXR8 ones do you think?
