ef are the same.. ford will bend you over for em.. better off rebuildingthe ones you have or getting a set or 2 from a wrecker and rebuilding.

Price from ford?? dunno..

But shims from them are expensive enough

i thought they would have been about 13 or 15 bucks each, but never would have thought they would charge 33 bucks for one little lifter

can get a lifter repair kit with new retainers in it (dont really know why they call it a lifter repair kit when theres just retainers bbut yea) from bursons for around 30 to 40 bucks

Ford will want anywhere between $30 and $50 per lifter. Sometimes less, depending how nice you are to the spare parts guy.

You should be able to get new lifters from bigger auto chains like Repco or Bursons for the $11 to $13 mark.

DO NOT buy after market ones!!!! the ones I got from Veale cannot be serviced they are a sealed unit so if they get sticky you cant rebuild them as I found out, so do what I did and find someone who is wrecking an EL and get them and rebuild em. I got mine from a mate for a sixer of bundy.
