HI EVERYONE
WELL ITS FINALLY FINISHED AND RUNNING PERFECT. I'M USING THE BBM MANIFOLD, SINGLE BELT DRIVE , THERMO FANS AND EL ECU.WIRING IS THE ED WITH A FEW MODS DONE TO RUN THE ACC. THE MODS DONE RUNNING 3 EXTRA WIRES FROM THE ECU THROUGH TO THE ENGINE. THE WIREING ADDED IS AS FOLLOWS. PIN 33 (BLUE WIRE) TO THE EL THERMO FAN RELAYS. PIN 53 (BLUE WHITE STRIPE) ALSO TO THERMO FAN RELAY. PIN 15 (GREEN PURPLE STRIPE) TO THE INLET MANIFOLD SWITCH. NOW THE HARD BIT. WITH THE TERMO FAN RELAYS RUN THE MAIN POSITIVE LEAD (YELLOW) THROUGH A FUSE TO THE POSITIVE ON BATTERY. RUN THE BLACK TO EARTH, BLUE AND BLUE WHITE TO ECU, RED WITH GREEN TO THE RED WITH GREEN WIRE THAT IS LOOSE NEAR THE COIL AND STARTER MOTOR. NOW THE MANIFOLD, RUN THE GREEN WITH PURPLE FROM ECU TO THE MANIFOLD SWITCH, RUN THE RED WIRE COMING OUT OF THE SWITCH TO THE RED WIRE COMING FROM THE INJECTORS. YOU WILL ALSO HAVE TO CHANGE THE PLUG ON THE THROTTLE BODY TO THE EL ONE (ITS ONLY 2 WIRES WHITE AND PINK). RETAPE ALL EXPOSED WIRING AND YOU SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO. AFTER TEST RUN I WOULD SAY THIS IS A GRAET CONVERSION TO DO AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I HOPE THIS SHEDS SOME LIGHT ON THIS SUBJECT. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO OFFERED ADVICE. |

Just took the old girl for a drive for a couple of hours and all I can say is money well spent all $500 worth. Oh and the week to do the change over.

Just over 75000. Got complete EL for $300 and drove it home although it had been Tboned.
