what needs to be done to swap EL motor into ED?

want to keep BBM and run thermos

Not too difficult, essentially the same as what I did to my XH, just bolted the XR6 head and cam on, bolted the dual plane manifold on, threw in an EL ECU and wired up the manifold. You would also have to throw on the thermo fans, relay block and wire it up.

you drop it in, modify your EB loom to suit...

i took the relays for the fans from the EL and the bbm solenoid, you need to provide these with 12v from the ignition and then you need to run the earths from the relays/bbm solenoid and wire up the knock sensor and you're done
