I'm thinking about finally getting an exhaust on my EL Fairmont. I was thinking I'd start with the cat back, and then look at some extractors later.

I am hoping to get something that will flow a litte better, but I dont want anything loud, my theme is a real sleeper.

To do this, I was thinking about going for a 2.5" system, and getting the best quality mufflers I could find. To date, thats these "MagnaFlow" units. (I've seen a few people here talk about their high-flow cats).

Does anyone know what size the stock mufflers / resanators are ?

I'm browsing the Magnaflow website here:

... and they refer to all their items in sizes. I'd like to be able to order 2.5" replacements for the stock gear to keep it quiet (or quieter ?).

Have you heard of COBY or RAGE?, NZ product. unique sound all together. They cost between $49.10 AU dollars.

I used to run Bigbore RAGE on my 351C corty. sounds wicked bro!

I think the stock diameter is 2" or 2 1/4"
