Some of the blow fuses, some just make the entire system cycle.. others dont work at all. I've given up and manually unlock it with a key when I need to get in the back  Is the lock itself 100 percent okay? Perhaps that contributes to your problem?

ok i had a problem a few months back when my boot wouldnt open, it always made the clicking noise to unllock but seemed to be stuck, so i took the boot lining off and discovered old hard glue was restricting the boot from opening, a little piece that had broken off was jammed in there, might wanna have a look at that
