Hi all i got an el wagon back firing it had no spark ive put a computer now it has good spark and running ive changed the map throttle pos fuel pressure reg tryed timing it no air leaks help thanks

backfiring is usually retarded timing or not enough fuel... have you set the timing with it in diagnostic mode? if not, it will be greatly retarded..
otherwise, replaced your fuel filter as a start? dodgy fuel pump, put a fuel pressure guage on it.

Put an new dizzy in and stopped back firing now the whole dash and car cuts out under acceleration And the dash doesn't come back on until the pass door opened and closed but maybe just Random
|

Passenger door?? Would make me think your ECU earth is loose or the ecu's plug, might be jarring it enough when you slam the door to get it going again, just a suggestion
