Hi All

Got an issue with a EB Falcon GLi.

Basicly engine is idling very low and borders on snuffing. then it sounds to be in Limp Home Mode when running. sounds like it is trying to compensate but not able to. the engine when idling surges and flat lines then surges then flat lines. i had thought this issue to be with the Throtle controll but that has been replaced as has the C02 sensor.

also when the car changes up and down gears automatically it goes ok but when dropping back a gear to go down hills it almost feels like it drops into nutral and takes off down the hill.

Is this likely to be a Computer issue given this is happining and effecting engine and gear box?

it would be ideal to get the engine idling back at 800 or so RPM. at the moment it idles (if you can call it that) at arround 200 RPM

Regards

I always thought that was pre set from the ECU.

where does that get done on the EA falcon?
