my AU XR6 Series 3 after sitting at a set of lights or standing stationary for even a short time (this also occurs on start up take offs), when I go to take off by easing on the throttle to get going the engine sounds like it is missing. Does anyone know what this may be or have any ideas about what might be causing this problem to occur?

missing?

all jokes aside, many many things to consider. If its missfiring it could be injectors, fuel flow, ignition timing, coil/lead/plug... More info required.

thanks for your help guys, it is also starting to do the same thing when going around corners slowly or when turning around a roundabout. does this suggest that its more likely to be the crank angle sensor?

I know that its not the tps switch because I have just recently changed it, so that counts that one out.

all of the sensors are fine as it was only the tps sensor that showed up as a fault when the ecu was scanned. So that rules all of the senors out.

woah woah woah, ive heard that one before. you checked the fuel pump relay? the contacts could be worn. the thing could be opening up when you corner
