Everyone's going to say Lukey or Redback but be different and go for a single muffler, mild steel Manta system ($240) and a set of Pacemaker extractors ($430) then sit back and wait for the compliments to roll in on how great it sounds (priceless) :D .

try a search, so many many many many many many many many topics already covering exactly what you want to know! There's even a sticky that covers it right here in the 6 cylinder workshop. good luck and let us know what you decide!
your not gunna notice a power change between the brands, specially if your only doing cat back. but make sure you get straight through mufflers rather than the turbo ones.

The best exhaust for an EF is to fit the stock EB/D cast exhaust manifold, a cat from a ford laser, and a 2" press bent polished stainless steel system. No muffler

Please stay well away from Turbo muffler. That was my mistake, no research, poor outcome (before i was fordmods member) don't wanna hijack this thead but can exhaust shops swap mufflers or do you have to buy a whole new system..

Anyways yeah either lukey race/ultraflow muffler(no reso)or redback with one muffler are a safe choice.

they can cut out your old muffler and fit/weld in a new one, no worries. or you might find that you can do it yourself if the mufflers only clamped on. my mufflers clamped to the tailpipe/now diff dumper, but welded onto the first section of exhaust pipe.

as for no resinator. depends on how loud they want it. not everyone wants it to be loud. i've got a resinator, hot dog style, and the noise is still pushing the boundaries. people in the back of my car can't here much else, but there's not usually anyone else in it these days.

You're asking the wrong person where to find them in Melbourne :) . I would say that any exhaust shop would be able to get them in for you.

I was a bit worried when i had it fitted to my car, but when she fired up the first time, blimey what a noise. Let it wear in for a few hundred kays and then go down a narrow road with tall buildings at night and you'll see (at night to get more dense, cool air into the engine and you get a better exhaust note out the end). It doesn't drone at 110km/h, but you guys over there have a 100km/h top speed don't ya, so it makes for even quieter cruising  .

Speak to Professional Exhausts in Airport West - very very good - i recommend them - and so do about 5 of my mates! we all have one!

I got an ef 5 speed and i have a cat back with 2.5" system and 2 high flow mufflers!!

Shop around for the best price for a mandrel bend & Lukey Or Redback. If you want it quiter , it will cost extra for the resonator, well worth it though . good luck.
