NL fbt, got it at 88,000kms, now has 106,000 getting close to a year later; no problems other than wear and tear like shocks/globes/fuild/leads n stuff, all good so far.
Only thing i could get real picky on is it needs something on the front susp replaced, as when the car goes up and down in the cold it has slight squeek which annoys me. This will fixed soon as i get a day off tho, cost of $145, not too bad at all.

Could do with new door seals too i think, will look into this next week. :)

Happy sailing on the NL front.

I have had my EL since April 2000 and it had 112000Km on the clock. So now it has clocked up to 199200 and I must say the most Major things that has gone wrong on it is the Starter Motor which was sounding weird and ending up being replaced under warranty. The Waterpump died at 180000 and also I had to replace the Coolant reservoir tank as it was Bulging out big time. Other than that the usual wear and tear parts like Brakes, Tyres,Shocks Batteries, globes etc have needed replacing since then etc. My EL is as reliable as a Blow fly showing up to a BBQ *Touchwood*

I have an XG with 935,000 original k's on it. Runs as good as new. I only run Synthetic oil in it (changed at 10,000 klm, with filters).
I also have an NU VCT with 185,000 klms on it, - just run in I reckon.

my ebII has just ticked over 150,000km...

has had headgasket + head bolts, lower radiator hose and just recently the pulley tensioner on the power steering belt seized, cooked my power steering belt and now i dont have power steering.

went into ford today and picked up replacement pulleys, belts and a rocker cover gasket (has leak) to the cool sum of $167 or so..

My gearbox needs to be looked at (flush/filter/whatnot) and i think my LSD is getting worn hehe.

edit: also needed to put a new starter motor in it!

edit again, also had warped rotors which had to get milled but thats just normal wear and tear i spose.

i recon the running in period of a motor will either make or break it, run it in correctly and you wont have too many problems with the motor. also warming your car up before you drive it and not flogging it when cold helps.

i got an ef fairmont with 202,000 on it, runs beautifully and nothing mechanically has gone wrong.

The suspension is a little tired i guess, but that's par for the course at this age

My mothers uncle drove a taxi up in Brisbane back in the 60's,it was either a HR or HD cant remeber which, but anyway it had done well over a 1 million miles, not kilometers, and the motor had never been opened, not even a headgasket.

New Shocks , rotors and wheel bearings at at 155,000

New door rubbers will be going on the back soon. Starting to make the doors rattle.

My ED has just ticked over 200,000 K's

If we dont include my adevntures with secondhand transmissions and EBay steering racks its had:

1 power steering pump
2 reco'd racks
1 diff
i transmission
rear suspension makes a bit of noise
and the door seals arent the best

Its first 170,000 Kms were spent as a company car, then towing a caravan all over the place

then its last 30,000 K's have been spent playing V8 supercars all over geelong/ballarat

so id say all in all its been a good car considering the way i used to drive it (im over my boy racer phase now)
