people have done it with BA/BF, the same logic would apply to a FG.

Any conversion can be done it just comes down to if you want to put the time required into it.

yes fg sump is in reverse, got a 50th anniversary motor here ready for my next conversion. the fg k frame and suspension setup is the same as territory, (will be converting a ed xr6 wagon to fg xr6t 4wd) if your not keen on using the fg k frame and sump to match you can just replace the sump fith a ba/f sump they bolt strait up.
i can post some pics of the sump soon.
as for the conversion in general you can check out my build thread

cheers jesse

Ok so is it official the fg sump doesn't like the ea to ed k frame? ?

Also the fg motors can still bolt up to the ba btrs? If so then the e series btr shall fit

FG Sump will not fit either the EA/EB/ED/EF/EL/AU/BA/BF K Frame. FG Is a rear sump and all the others are Front Sump. BA/BF Sump can be fitted to the FG Block but you also need the BA/BF Oil Pickup. You will also have an issue with the dipstick.

AU/BA/BF Bellhousings will bolt up directly to the FG Motor.
