Even Jefferson ford didn't have any bolts in stock :/
The ftg joint had them though, and for much cheaper too :P
Got 12 bolts for just under $10, Jefferson were asking $3.40 a bolt.
Also got my fuel rail and intake gasket. Fuel rail was $190, so hopefully I was right with the ba/f fuel rail not fitting, :P

$3.40 per bolt is a ripoff!

Bloody oath it is...

So the fuel regulator from the BA/F fuel rail won't fit into an FG one.
Delayed me another day :/ I'll pick one up tomorrow.

How else will they make money out of you? :)
When I was working in the automotive industry more money was being made from the selling of spare parts and accessories than there was from selling the bloody cars! I imagine it will always be the same.

And on that note, the FG mass sensor doesn't seem to be compatible with the BA/F ecu. Finally got it running tonight, though it was running like a dog.
Checked all wiring, it was all alright.
Then unplugged the mass sensor, it ran 90% better.
Probably why the other guys still ran the BA/F mass sensor :P

Ahh well, the more you know. I got the FG sensor & wiring for free anyway :P

Did you also try drilling a small hole into the TB Butterfly? Apparently that fixes idle problems too.

I did note that, that's going to be the last thing I do. I'm just going to make sure that my wiring for the mass sensor is 100%, i MAY have used crimp connectors initially :P And it's possibly screwing with the resistances.

Do you know what size hole it is though? Don't want to go too big. If you don't know, i'll ask the guy that did that ef/l wagon 'MKII'

Just PM'd him.

Soldering the wires fixed heaps of my problems though, now its running even better. Still got a bit of lag down bottom though, once it gets past 2500rpm or near there its fine

Sent you a reply. So everyone knows I drilled a 3.0mm hole in the throttle body because it wouldn't Idle when it warmed up and to stop it hunting. I had also used the FG injectors but will be using BA ones when I install the manifold in my BA XR.
