I fitted chrome rocker covers to my Clevo, had to let the engine cool right down before attempting to work on it, they get extremely f**k hot!
They're weren't on long, p****d them off and fitted a pair of finned alloy jobs, done them in the wrinkle finish and painted them same colour as the motor... Heaps cooler and nicer to look at.

Yeah probably somewhere, this is going back early to mid 90's.
There are some of the engine built on the stand, not sure of the alloy covers were on it.

so, how would i go about polishing it up?

obviously i would have to sand back the paint thats on there now. but to what degree? like what grit sandpaper should i use?

and to polish it up do i just attack it with autosol or something?
