I used VHT bright red spray paint, used the entire can, sprayed about 10 really light coats.

how did u pant it, did u spray it? is there a special kind of paint you have to use?

yeah mate, i just sprayed it with that high temp VHT spray paint can. any auto shop sells them.

looks crap. wrong colour for xr/tickford. shoulda just xdone a colour that matchs the car.

not bad at all. im tempted to do mine, just finished painting my exhaust heat shield and it said on the can rocket red and turned out orange...

Yeah chromed would be the way to go, would a pannel beater/spray painter do it?
