I have just finished changing the leads in my EL Fairmont Ghia, what a pain in the a**. I bought some new plugs for my ED a couple of weeks back, b4 i got my EL and i was wondering if I could put the ED plugs in the EL. My brother said be careful cos the plugs might be too long and would do something to the piston. I looked at the plugs and the EL r a tiny bit (1 or 2 mm) shorter. Has anyone done this before? I only wanna know if you are sure, no "i think so"'s cos i don't wanna have to rebuild the engine cos of wrong guesses. So has anyone done it, are they compatible?

No they are a different plug, the EL needs BPR5EY-11 and the ED ones are BRE527Y-11
