Anyone had any experience with these? Are they worth the Money?

I am assuming if I was to get a Chiptorque HP4 Kit I wouldnt need one of these.. or would a flash tuner be better value? They claim to be able to increase power by alot more than a Chiptorque kit claims...

Or just a Complete new Computer? Haha the options.. the endless options..

Any info from members who have dealt with these would be great
Steve

The last time i checked, you couldn't get a flash tuner for an ed, they were a au-ba-bf thing.

I had my BA flash tuned and it gained 14.1 RWKW....
so if ya reckon 995 bux (think they are cheaper now) is good money for a 14.1 RWKW gain then i spose it is worth the money :P

You will find that it is'nt a flash tuner, but a chip...

14 rwkw... that isn't a great deal.. I guess a Chiptorque Kit would be more worth the money...

thats just one part of the story though, did you gain torque, throttle response, better fuel economy?

Yeah fuel economy increased, throttle response is much better and the torque is higher. I noticed that it straightened out the Dyno curve a bit too.. not as jerky. And alot more power/torque down low, which is very much required with the "tank" like weight of the BA.
Another bonus with the flash tuner i found was that you can store multiple tunes on the box and just swap and change depending on what your doing.
And you can switch it back to factory settings so if getting serviced by ford, they wont re-map your ECU and erase your custom tune.

Wow... was like an ad! :P

the barra i6 is good for about 130-145rwkw. so if you dont have any other mods you will most likely only gain about 10rwkw.
by the way nathy hsv=homo sexual vehicle .... i made that up haha

I looked into the Sniper Software etc from BPT and it still seems there is nothing for ED's, Just EF-EL's
