if driven correctly the 5 spd offers phenomenal (spelling?) economy!

my city k's may be a tad higher than most as i do shiftwork and so avoid major traffic. highway k's are real. went from adel to hay (720km)loaded with luggage and fuel light never came on and trip comp said another 140 odd k's.

with fuel around 1.20/L i'm pretty happy and sounds to me like you're very jealous.

Ive reached bout 600+ kms for 3/4 of a tank and that was half highway driving half city driving... i know its weird but ive done it several times and the figures work out between 550 and 650 and thats off bout 3/4 of a tank each time cos i always fill up when it gets that low..

you serious??? I find it very nerve raking when i am in a car with sum1 driving like a fuking maniac sumtimes..... I can only stand it when i do that :D

But when driving normally, normally especially when low on fuel decide to let the car roll down the hill... quite a fun game if you have the patience.... gone for about 2 km before the car reached bout 10km/h (oh i only do this if i am the only car on the road, not like one of those asians that buy a camry and are too scared to go 50 in a 50 zone).

I drive normal most of the time, the only reason why the economy wouldnt be good in my car is that fact that 80% of my driving is done around town (small city area). I do pretty good considering :)

Car: 97' EL falcon
Engine: i6
Fuel type: ULP (mostly from major fuel retailers, bp, mobil, shell...)
mods: OPT20 Car --> Police ECU, XR series suspension, LSD, ...etc

highway range: Haven't done any ^_^
city range: 300 -350Ks in exetreme city driving

I get really low k's out of my tank as it takes me around literally 40mins everyday doing laps and laps or stationary with the engine on, trying to find a bloody spot.
