thats the one on top of the rocker cover isnt it? I tried the top of that (where the hose connects)... and i am pretty sure i tried the base of it too... but ill redo that this arvo.

No problem

Pull the pcv valve itself out the rocker cover (might be tight) and put your finger on the valve and see if the noise stops.

i sprayed all around the PCV valve with and that did nothing, so i put my finger over the end of the valve, all that did was try and eat my finger. it didnt change the noise though. :S

just also, as something completely stupid, my air con is f**k out, even though it is turned off, that couldnt be trying to suck air in through something could it?

I dont think it can, but its in the right area... and i dont know why there is no gas left, so obviously a leak from somewhere

^^^ Unfortunately not that day. About 3 weeks later. That was a blown out o ring at the TX valve, turned out the shop had given me one the wrong size.

About a week after i got to townsville though, it blew out again! CBF to fix it now!! :lol:

Got the car back fromthe mechanic, turned out to be a blown out inlet manifold gasket. Bandaid fix on it for now, will fix it properly soon

Yeah those nasty inlet gaskets usually split in numbers 5 and 6.Glad you found the problem.Now you can go out and take the falcon cruisin.
